Fuzz & Stuffing Puppets

Puppeteers Craig T. Adams and Debra Burrell produce and create special educational puppet programs for a variety of organizations. Utilizing the Japanese Bunraku style of puppetry, with puppeteers clad in black and visible to the audience, their large free-standing puppets, look much like big animated stuffed toys. Performances  venues have included schools, malls, museums, theatres and festivals throughout the state of Virginia, as well as locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and North Carolina. Craig T. Adams earned the University of Utah Theatre Department's award for Outstanding Contributions to Children's Theatre (1976), the American Lung Association of Virginia's Douglas Southall Freeman Award (2006) and The Fine Arts Department Award from Norfolk Academy (2009).
